Australian hardcore veterans No Apologies drop new video for ‘Grief’ featuring Jem Siow of Speed

Sydney hardcore heavyweights No Apologies return with “Grief”, the brand-new video featuring Jem Siow of Speed. The clip was shared last week via Decibel Magazine, who hailed it as “a hard-hitting, mid-tempo chugger that even manages to find its way into a stoner metal groove in the solo section.”

“Grief” is the third single from the band’s long-awaited new album Life, out August 29 on Last Ride Records. Following their 2007 classic Survival, the new record marks a bold new chapter, a deeply personal and emotionally charged album written from the edge of mortality and forged through nearly two decades of friendship and fire.

Vocalist Pete Abordi had this to say about the track: 

“The grief I felt after my father’s passing was unlike anything I’d ever felt before, more than just an emotion it was something I could actually feel, as in physically. Whenever I was awake it was with me, and the only time I could get away from it was when I went to sleep at the end of each day. This song delves into those emotions and for anyone experiencing a loss of their own I think they would be able to relate.”
