German darkwavers EFF reveal new track ‘Negative’

Darkwave

German darkwavers EFF reveal the new track “Negative.” The track is the second to be revealed from the band’s highly anticipated debut album, Zero, set for international self-release on December 8th. Hear EFF‘s “Negative” in its entirety HERE at their Bandcamp.

Out of the stillness of personal reflection—where loss and longing settle like shadows upon memory—emerges Zero, the debut album by EFF, a darkwave project from Germany that has been steadily shaping its own voice between melancholy and motion since 2023.

Following nine striking singles that hinted at earlier chapters, Zero marks a moment of retrospection—and transition. Written from July 2024 onward and mixed and mastered by Torben Utecht in December, the album collects songs that speak from inner fractures: danceable, but never weightless.

Between cold synth flickers, pulsing rhythms, and lyrical introspection, EFF traces the fragments of a self finding clarity in vulnerability. Personal, sorrowful, detached—yet undeniably alive.

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track “Negative” HERE at EFF‘s Bandcamp. Also hear the previously revealed “Gedankendelikt” HERE, also at EFF‘s Bandcamp. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Tracklisting for EFF’s Zero
1. 93 pt.1
2. 93 pt.2
3. Gedankendelikt
4. Zero
5. Unfading
6. …and a bright spark gleams
7. Metamorphosis
8. Negativ
