Ponte Del Diavolo release new single ‘Il Veleno della Natura’

,

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO present “Il Veleno della Natura,” the second single from their forthcoming full-length De Venom Natura. As one of the record’s central invocations, the track distills the album’s core theme: nature as a source of both creation and corruption, where poison becomes a vital force rather than a threat.

De Venom Natura” evolves the band’s blackened post-punk identity into a deeper, more complex form, expanding the dual-bass structures and raw live recording approach that define the album’s sonic landscape.

Il Veleno della Natura” embodies the band’s alchemical fusion of doom, black metal, post-punk, and wave. Intertwining basslines set a grainy, visceral foundation, while shimmering guitars and ritualistic percussion unfold in rising tension. Erba del Diavolo’s performance moves between whispered confession and fervent invocation, channeling a mood of sensual decay and ecstatic transformation.

The song is an intoxicating surrender to the venom of existence. Its imagery merges desire, dissolution, and rebirth: “Io mi voglio avvelenare col più soffice dei baci, poi morire per amore.” The devil appears as the threshold between reason and instinct, a symbolic force guiding the passage into dissolution and renewal. Within the album’s broader arc, “Il Veleno della Natura” marks a fevered turning point where poison shifts from metaphor to embodiment, echoing the eternal cycle of life, death, and resurgence at the heart of De Venom Natura.

De Venom Natura is out February 13, 2026 via Season of Mist.

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO craft a focused blend of doom, black metal, post‐punk, and wave—an aesthetic they call “blackened post‐punk.” Wave‐tinged female vocals anchor the project’s flaming core, supported by an uncommon dual‐bass setup that grounds the rhythmic guitars and a raw, dynamic drum pulse.

The result is an immersive, tension‐driven sound. Following the initial release of three EPs, the band signed to Season of Mist and unveiled their first full-length album, Fire Blades from the Tomb.

After two years on the road – appearing at leading European festivals such as Roadburn and Inferno in support of their debut – Ponte del Diavolo return with “De Venom Natura,” a record that extends and refines their musical boundaries.

Line-up:
Erba del Diavolo — Vocals
Khrura Abro — Bass
Kratom — Bass
Nerium — Guitar
Segale Cornuta — Drums
