Australia’s rock ‘n’ roll powerhouse Avalanche unleash the ultimate Aussie rock party anthem ‘On the Bags Again’

Hard Rock, Rock 'n' Roll

You’re favourite Aussie rock ’n’ rollers Avalanche are back with “On The Bags Again” — the ultimate, no filter, ‘on the nose’, party anthem for your next kick on. With equal parts swagger, chaos and serious riffage — Aussie pub rock better be ready for a bloody good kick up the backside with this new single from their debut album, Armed to the Teeth, releasing February 13 2026.

This track & the highly anticipated album release sets the stage for Avalanche’s biggest tour yet, supporting Aussie rock royalty AIRBOURNE across Europe and the UK from February 14 – March 4!

Built around some irresistibly catchy riffs, pounding rhythms, and an unapologetically chant-along chorus, “On the Bags Again” throws listeners straight into your greatest night out — a rapid-fire snapshot of mates, mess, and mayhem as the party rolls from one scene to the next. The repeated hook “We’re on the bottle / We’re on the bags again” is made to be shouted back at full volume and makes the song an instant live favourite.

Listen HERE

Frontman Steven Campbell about the single:

“‘On the Bags Again’ is basically a fly-on-the-wall story of a night that just keeps going — clocking off work, rounding up the crew, phones lighting up… and ending up way further down the road than planned! We shot the video at a gig in an underground bar in Sydney and really wanted it to feel chaotic, fun, and larger than life, like you’re right there with us!”

Since their emergence from a steel factory in 2018, Australia’s husband & wife led, hard rock powerhouse AVALANCHE (Veronica & Steven Campbell, Blake Poulton, Bon Lowe) have taken the world by storm. Headlining tours and festivals across Australia, Japan, Taiwan & New Caledonia, and sharing stages with rock titans like Nashville Pussy, Buckcherry, Fozzy, Rose Tattoo, Jesse Hughes (Eagles Of Death Metal), Uli Jon Roth & more — along with winning Australia’s largest live original band competition; Passport To Airlie – Avalanche has solidified their reputation for explosive performances and raw, unfiltered Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Their relentless drive has earned them international acclaim, with 2026 set to be their biggest year yet – releasing their debut album & touring with Airbourne across Europe & UK, followed by Rock The Boat where they will play alongside Rock royalty Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Phil X (Bon Jovi), James Lomenzo (Megadeth) & more.

Produced by Grammy-nominated, ARIA award-winning producer Steve James (Airbourne, Sex Pistols, Monty Python) Avalanche’s sonic assault has resonated globally, earning airplay on influential stations like Triple M, Kerrang!, Planet Rock, and publications such as Classic Rock, Rolling Stone and more.

Their signature sound and hectic touring schedule continue to win new fans worldwide, cementing Avalanche’s reputation as a band built for parties, pits, and festival chaos.

Frontman Steven Campbell about the album:

“‘Armed To The Teeth’ has been over 2 years in the making, it’s quite literally our blood, sweat and beers! To be touring it around Europe & UK with our biggest childhood heroes Airbourne is an absolute dream come true!

The album name was even inspired by (Airbourne’s) Joel O’Keffee. When we sent him the masters, he very excitedly calls us and tells us the track ‘Armed To The Teeth’ is one of the best new rock songs he’d heard, even comparing it to AC/DC’s ‘Let There Be Rock’ and that it would be a killer album name! For a riff that Veronica wrote when she was 16 and listening to Airbourne, it was the ultimate praise and utterly unreal, we just had to go with it!

We can’t wait to hit the road, rock with ya’s around the world and get ya’s all armed to the teeth!”
