The 2025 edition of Alcatraz 2025 got off to a flying start on the Prison Stage, delivering a first day packed with legendary names, cult favorites and modern metal heavyweights. From the return of Blaze Bayley and the long-awaited appearance of SNOT to the horror-infused theatrics of Wednesday 13, the iconic songs of W.A.S.P., the progressive mastery of Mastodon, and a crushing headline set by Kreator, the festival wasted no time making an impression.
