Scheitan release goth rock banger ‘In The Dead of Night’
Swedish gothic rock band Scheitan have released the next single titled “In The Dead of Night”, from their new and yet-untitled album, currently in the works for a release in spring 2027.
“In The Dead of Night” is a signature upbeat goth/darkwave song written by Scheitan mastermind Pierre Törnkvist. With a strong chorus, steady beat and an excellent sound image crafted by none other than world-renowned producer and sound engineer Daniel Bergstrand the track is a definite contender for the dance floor of any goth club.
Scheitan is also to feature live on Swedish national radio on Friday 30th October and scheduled to headline the opening day of Hellsinki Industrial Festival at On The Rocks in the centre of Helsinki, Finland on 19 November.
Scheitan previously released “A Million Days” which continues the band’s exploration of melodic gloom, featuring lyrics that touch on themes of endurance, internal conflict and the weight of “dead desires”. The song describes a journey through “a thousand fires” and “a thousand battles”, centred around a heavy refrain of emotional isolation and the “drowning of a lonely soul”.
The band also released “Queen of the Lions”, a dark and gloomy observation of the surroundings of the present world melted into a story of love and death.
Earlier this year, the band shared a video for the track “Every Little Thing“ off the latest album “Wine For a Tormented Soul”.
