Forged in steel, the band’s debut LP ‘…And The Moon Became As Blood’ separates the weak from the strong, the posers from the diehard, and your skull from your neck as you headbang ’til you can no more. After spending the last few years sharpening their blades with a barrage of well received EPs, they are now ready to unleash their most definitive statement to date.

Initially intended as a four EP collection, the band set out to write 3 tracks centred around each of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The band incorporate their wide range of influences to give each chapter something sonically unique, whilst still maintaining OVERPOWER‘s distinct armour-clad brand of crossover thrash metal.

Chapter I
War: The blood soaked battle march of classic 80’s heavy metal
Chapter II
Famine: It’s desperate, it’s frantic; it’s punk.
Chapter III
Death: The brutality and relentlessness of 90’s death metal
Chapter VI
Conquest: The authority and swagger of modern hardcore

Right before the band’s triumphant set at Bloodstock this year, they released the raging new single ‘Terminus’, which is also to be featured on their upcoming album. To celebrate the album announcement today, they have just released the new single ‘Chain Reaction’.

“Chain Reaction is set in the ruins of a holy atomic war that has torn the very fabric of reality apart. Clawing through the desolation, the remnants of humanity are physically and spiritually lost in the dark.
In a world where even time has become unstable, parallel dimensions bleed together, and sometimes something might slip through the cracks…” – OVERPOWER
