Dutch city Eindhoven is becoming the prog center of the Benelux!

Not too long ago brand new prog festival Prognosis was announced, but this isn’t the only prog event at Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Before we get to enjoy bands like Haken and Witchcraft, first on the agenda is Progressive Alliance, that’ll take place on November 4th at the Effenaar. So also November 4th prog will stand first and center in Eindhoven! A day filled with a tight offer of international prog rock and metal bands.

From Norway is coming: the dynamic and powerful Astrosaur, the noise rockers of Arabrot and the well-known composer Ihsahn (known for Emperor and standing at the cradle of Leprous).

From Australia we have the extreme prog metal from Ne Obliviscaris. The German band The Ocean will appear with brand new record “Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic” on the shelves. To continue the list they also got a band from their own country. Outfit VUUR  with no one less than Anneke van Giersbergen as frontwoman. And finally to complete the line-up, all the way from Philadelphia is the band Rosetta coming to mount the stage with already 6 albums under the arm.

With Progressive Alliance, Eindhoven is making the necessary steps to become the true center of prog music. All big names from the genre are dropping by the coming half year. For everyone that has a connection with prog, Eindhoven will become “the place to be”!
