Dyscordia is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary with a special show

Dyscordia was formed by experienced musicians from bands such as Gwyllion, Double Diamond, and Anesthesy. Their debut EP, Reveries, was released in 2010 and secured them support shows for bands like Primal Fear, ReVamp, and Alestorm.

The album Twin Symbiosis (2013) marked the beginning of a successful collaboration with producer Jens Bogren and mastering engineer Tony Lindgren (Fascination Street Studios, Sweden). The album brought them to festivals such as Graspop, PPM Fest, and Dokk’em Open Air.

Their follow-up, Words in Ruin, was released in 2016 and was presented with a sold-out release show. The band played at Alcatraz Metal Fest and Summerbreeze, among others.

In 2019, their third album, Delete / Rewrite, followed, again featuring Bogren and Lindgren. The album proved to be their most powerful work to date. However, a planned tour with Doro in 2020 was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After drummer Wouter Debonnet left in 2022, Chevy Mahieu joined the band. In 2023, the band released the single “Hell,” and on April 16, 2024, their fourth album, The Road to Oblivion, was released, accompanied by the single and lyric video “The Passenger.”

After a third stint on Alcatraz, singer/guitarist Stefan left the band; Jens Novotni took his place.

Now after 15 years, they’re stronger than ever, with renewed energy and inspiration looking forward to the future. But first they are going to celebrate this monumental anniversary with a special show in their hometown Kortrijk in Belgium, joined by their friends of Aeveris and At The Front for a night of excellent Belgian heavy music!
