Enemies Everywhere unleashed ‘Atonement’ upon the world

Deathcore, Metalcore

Helsinki-based deathcore outfit Enemies Everywhere return with new music. After turning heads in metal media and among listeners with their debut EP Endless Discord in 2024, the band now presents their new single “Atonement.”

The track delivers exactly what Enemies Everywhere stand for: raw, unapologetic deathcore where dark atmospheres merge seamlessly with crushing grooves. The band’s heavy sonic identity is matched by equally bleak thematic storytelling.

“The story of the song draws inspiration from the theological concept of atonement, referring to the reconciliation between God and humanity through the death of Jesus. In this song, the idea is reinterpreted as a struggle against addiction and depression, where atonement through death feels like the only solution. Still, there is hope — ‘through the pain I will still rise’”

During the past year and a half, Enemies Everywhere have focused not only on writing material for their debut album — scheduled for release this autumn — but also on carefully refining their live production. Beyond sheer aggression, their uncompromising deathcore relies heavily on technically demanding extreme vocals, requiring precision and endurance alike.

“We have plenty of shows coming up across Finland, and in May we’ll also head to the Baltics for The Spring of Vengeance tour. We hope to see all of you at the shows and that you enjoy the new song as much as we do!”
