We sat down with Onni and Kevin from Assemble the Chariots at Tuska 2024 to talk about their new album ‘Unyielding Night’ (set for release on July 19th via Seek and Strike), how this is the start of a whole universe they’re creating, with the sound they’ve always envisioned for the band from the beginning. And we came back from the talk with 2 things ingrained in our heads: listen to the album from start to finish, and make sure you make it to the release show at On The Rocks in Helsinki where they’ll play the album in its whole for what sounds like a unique experience…

We had a chat with Brujo himself of the Mexican group of gangsters Brujeria!

Earlier this year, 3 excellent Belgian bands rocked our venue Asgaard with their music. One for one bands you should check out, with hardcore/deathcore from Despite Us, modern metal from Noord and pummeling death metal from Catharsis! An event presented to us by Fly Productions!

An assault bus passed through Munich, and inside it were the Americans of Lionheart, Suicide Silence, Kublai Khan and Paleface Swiss, who simply wrung all the sweat out of those present in the larger room of the Backstage club.

Without question, the biggest deathcore band in the world, Lorna Shore made their stop at Jäähalli, the biggest venue in Helsinki, bringing their biggest stage production yet to a sold out crowd on their “The Pain Remains EU Tour”, and with them they had Rivers of Nihil, Ingested and Distant, resulting in massive pits from start to finish!

Back in August, Asgaard’s new live season kicked off with a metalcore/deathcore event in collaboration with Return Bookings, bringing Signs of the Swarm, Mental Cruelty, When Plagues Collide, Knives To A Gunfight and Subvergence to our venue to absolutely destroy!

Nem Agency’s Melancholy Mass Festival made Finland’s dark winter nights just a bit better by bringing us Septicflesh, …And Oceans, Vorna, Assemble The Chariots and Voidfallen on the stage in Tampere and Helsinki.
