Genus Ordinis Dei unleash thrilling new single ‘Eternal Cycle’ featuring Ambre Vourvahis from Xandria

Symphonic Death Metal

The legendary Italian symphonic death metal band, Genus Ordinis Dei, has just released their explosive new single Eternal Cycle, featuring the breathtaking voice of Xandria’s own Ambre Vourvahis! Available worldwide on all platforms since November 15, 2024, this track will take you on a powerful, mythic journey. Listen now at this link!

After the release of their monumental album The Beginning and a series of epic metal videos launched last December, Genus Ordinis Dei is back with Eternal Cycle, a haunting masterpiece produced by Tommaso Monticelli at Sonitus Studio in Crema, Italy, and released via Eclipse Records.

As a standout track, Eternal Cycle dives into the myth of Persephone and Hades, uniting symphonic metal with epic storytelling to explore the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. With sweeping orchestral grandeur, relentless rhythms, and searing riffs, the song is a tempest of musical intensity. Vourvahis’ ethereal vocals blend seamlessly with the growls of Genus Ordinis Dei’s frontman, embodying the raw contrast between light and darkness, life and death. The dynamic interplay of symphonic and metal elements breathes life into this timeless myth, capturing its passion and tension like never before.

Band and Ambre Vourvahis Share Their Vision

“When I first heard Ambre from Xandria, I knew we’d create something unforgettable together,” says guitarist and vocalist Nick Key. “Collaborating with her has been extraordinary; her vocal tone, her attention to detail, and her openness inspired us. The intertwining of our voices is magical, and I’m certain listeners will feel the immense emotion and join us on this incredible journey.”

Ambre Vourvahis shares her excitement:

“I’ve been a fan of Genus Ordinis Dei for years. When I heard their track Salem with Cristina Scabbia, I thought how amazing it would be to work with them someday. Now, here we are! It’s an honor to be part of such a powerful song. Nick’s growls are phenomenal, and the contrast between our voices brings out the story in an electrifying way.”
