INFECTED RAIN Unveil New Single ‘Stranger’ Ahead of EU/UK Tour

INFECTED RAIN have introduced their latest single ‘Stranger’, accompanied by an official music video. The song marks the beginning of a new creative phase for the band, presenting the first material from their next album, which is currently in progress. The track focuses on themes of identity, transformation, and internal conflict, blending introspective lyrics with the band’s modern metal foundation.

The release precedes the start of the ‘Mutation Phase‘ tour, which sees INFECTED RAIN co-headlining with BUTCHER BABIES across Europe. The run begins on March 25 in Glasgow and will feature a mix of established songs and new material.

With new music underway, the band describes this period as their ‘mutation phase’, signaling a shift toward a sharper and more direct sonic direction while maintaining the intensity that has defined their work to date.

It’s an inward fight with identity, with the roles you’ve worn for too long, and the distance that grows between who you are and who you think you should be. In the end, it’s about becoming strangers to ourselves, and trying to find the way back.”

Formed in Chișinău, Moldova, INFECTED RAIN have built an international following through extensive touring and a series of notable releases, including Endorphin, 86, Ecdysis, and TIME. Their sound combines elements of modern metal, metalcore, nu-metal, and alternative influences, supported by the distinctive vocal presence of Lena Scissorhands.
