Melrose Avenue release heaviest song to date

Metalcore

Rising metalcore kings Melrose Avenue are back with another track, “Bad Guy”. Challenging their artistry, this track is arguably the band’s heaviest track to date. The track pushes the band into a new space and is sure to be an instant hit with the band’s international and ever-growing fanbase. Listen to the track here.

Ahead of the band’s headlining US and European tour, you can catch them in the US from early April to May with Autumn Kings and Stray View, as well as in Europe and the UK in June performing at some of Europe’s biggest Rock Festivals over the summer. More details and dates below.

Melrose Avenue shares of the track:

“There’s been this shadow that’s been hanging over me for years, and ‘Bad Guy’ was finally my way of confronting it. It comes from that raw place of betrayal—when someone you trust turns on you and paints you as the villain just to lift themselves up. This song is me owning that narrative and calling it out for what it really is.”

Melrose Avenue is taking over international airwaves by storm. Hailing from the remnants of post-covid Australia, the punk/metalcore group has quickly risen as one of Australia’s top-viewed musical acts of the year online. They have captured the hearts of fans worldwide with their charismatic digital presence and explosively-charged tunes. Influenced by the heavy rock/metalcore sounds of Bring Me the Horizon, Memphis May Fire, and Papa Roach, fans are sure to enjoy the rush of adrenaline Melrose Avenue will bring to their veins. The group is composed of vocalist and songwriter Vlado Saric, guitarist Mitchell Black, drummer Jed McIntosh, and guitar and supporting vocalist Shawn ‘Red Curl” Mayer (what an epic nickname, right!?). Their talent as individuals undeniably makes them an unstoppable force as they continue to garner a loyal fanbase and infectious online attention. Melrose Avenue’s seamless and dynamic blend of melodic pop vocals with the heavy nature of metal makes them an act to watch as they skyrocket.
