Moon Shot to release new studio album ‘The Power’ in April

While the first two singles “Yes!” and “Shadow Boxer” are enjoying steadily growing popularity and have been staying in the radio charts for several weeks or rising higher week after week, Finnish alternative rockers MOON SHOT are now announcing their second studio album entitled “The Power”, which is to be released on April 26, 2024 via Reaper Entertainment. 

“Making ‘The Power’ was an epic journey. With this album I feel I have done the deepest and most intense creative work of my life so far. 24 months of uncompromised songwriting, producing, playing, mixing and crafting. says chief composer, guitarist and producer Jussi Ylikoski. “And now I’m very proud to present you this profound piece of rock ‘n’ roll:  The Power.”

“The Power is the album I have always wanted to make. In this album we managed to extend MOON SHOT’s spectrum while keeping the original incredients still there – catchy tunes with timeless song writing and deep cutting, honest lyrics”, comments vocalist and lyricist Ville Malja and adds about the cover artwork: “The cover of the album is a statement. Times like these, we want to remind that it’s us who can make the change. Instead of waving your finger, you can have a listen, think and then act. We are here together and by holding each other’s hands we create the chain that has all The Power. The Power of dialogue is The Power of change.”

The first single from the album was released in September 2023. “Yes!” has been in the playlists of radio stations ever since and is enjoying growing popularity. The second single “Shadow Boxer”, which has been available since November 2023, impressively emulates its predecessor and has become a genuine radio hit.

The third single “Blackened Spiral” will then herald the pre-order of the album on January 26. Stay tuned.
