Portuguese progressive metal outfit Phase Transition released new single ‘The Other Side’

Portuguese progressive metal outfit Phase Transition just released a new single “The Other Side”, taken from the upcoming debut album “In Search of Being”, out June 6, 2025.

“The Other Side“ explores the mysteries of death and the perception of mortality. The single features guest vocals by Ricardo Pereira from the melodic death metal bands Moonshade and Firemage.

After making their mark on some of the biggest Iberian stages, Phase Transition is gearing up to release their debut album, In Search of Being, on June 6, 2025. Their earlier EP didn’t escape the attention of the editors at Prog Magazine, and now the band is ready to take their music even further with this ambitious first full-length release.
