Post-black metal outfit Chrome Waves shared new video single ‘Into The Water’

Post-Black

Midwestern post-black metal outfit CHROME WAVES presents a new single/video, “Into The Water,” which made its public debut earlier this week.

CHROME WAVES’ current lineup unites founding member Jeff Wilson (Deeper Graves, Altars Of The Moon, ex-Nachtmystium) on guitar/synth, Zion Meagher (Anti-Human Thesis, ex-Nachtmystium) on bass, James Benson (Amiensus, Comatose) handling vocals/synth, and Alan Cassidy (The Black Dhalia Murder) on drums.

Bridging the gap between their Earth Will Shed Its Skin LP, released in April via M-Theory Audio, and their impending fifth LP, CHROME WAVES recently started rolling out a series of new singles, dropping “Father, I Wait” at the end of September. Now, they present a new video and single for the second single in this series, “Into The Water.”

The song was recorded by CHROME WAVES, and mixed/mastered by Jeff Wilson. The new video for the song was created by Heath Rave (Altars Of The Moon, Lotus Thrones). The band reveals,

“‘Into The Water’ is a song that’s been around for a while, for whatever reason never finding its way onto an album. If you find yourself reminiscing of our older material, this is the ‘new’ song for you.”

“Into The Water” is released across all digital platforms today Friday, November 24th. Watch for additional singles to post early in the new year, followed by the band’s fifth album.

CHROME WAVES is also about to begin their new Fall tour through the Midwest and Southern states from November 30th through December 17th with Chicago-based Black Cross Hotel. Another run of shows will bring CHROME WAVES to the Northeast at the start of the new year, January 4th through 7th. See all confirmed dates below and watch for updates to post soon.
