STARS IN TOWN Festival 2025 with Alice Cooper on ‘Super Wednesday’ and more announced

The first artists for the upcoming edition of Stars in Town, taking place from July 30 to August 9, 2025, have been announced: With international stars like Alice Cooper, Biffy Clyro, Nothing But Thieves, Ugly Kid Joe, and Kontra K, as well as national top acts like Hecht, Pegasus, and Nemo, the festival program will excite both die-hard music fans and new visitors. The lineup is complemented by up-and-coming artists such as the Swiss Linda Elys or Picture This from Ireland. Ticket sales via Ticketcorner.

The picturesque backdrop of the old town of Schaffhausen, the atmospheric lighting, numerous food stands, cozy bars, and light sculptures make the festival a unique overall experience under the motto “More than Music.” With three concerts per evening on the main stage at Herrenacker and over 30 emerging artists on the free talent stage at Fronwagplatz, Stars in Town offers not only musical highlights but an experience for all senses.

Already, acts for five of the seven planned concert evenings have been confirmed. These are strictly booked by genre – Hard Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Alternative Rock is planned for the upcoming edition so far, as well as a night of Swiss music on August 2.
