Album Reviews

The latest E.P. ‘De Syv Stadier Af Fordærv’ of the Danish death metal four-piece Undergang offers a rotten mixture brutal old school death metal and stands as one of the band’s best releases. Out on September 1 via Dark Descent Records.

Dark Descent Records and Extremely Rotten Productions surprised the fans with one of the best split releases of the year. Offering three exclusive songs from Denmark’s death metal outfit Undergang and one monolithic 14-minute track from the U.S. death/doom metal act Spectral Voice.

Undergang has exceeded the standards of their songwriting on their latest album. “Aldrig i livet” is crushing and brutal!

Undeath on their first full-length album provides us with something rotten ‘Lesions of a Different Kind’ has lived up to the hype. This is without a doubt one of the spectacular releases of the year 2020.

“Steeping Corporeal Mess” will have you all hooked by the nifty riffs and slow tempos, there are a lot of elements which Fetid seems to be influenced by Undergang.

Ossuarium’s “Living Tomb” is an album that lives up to the hype. And can surely withstand the erosion of time and space, I would proudly place this album right beside Disma’s debut album “Towards the Megalith”.

Nexus of Teeth is both pandemic and devastating record, I believe this band will take every natural step to evolve towards greatness.

Baest are insanely brutal, raw and incredibly captivating on their debut album Danse Macabre!

Through Wilderness is considered fresh and different from most of the traditional death metal records, the new material is laden with swirling guitar tones of memorable riffs and low growl vocals that makes this record so essential for any death metal fan.
