The Man-Eating Tree unleash new single ‘Ruins Of Insanity’

Doom Metal

On April 11, 2025, Finnish atmospheric metallers THE MAN-EATING TREE will release their brand new studio offering, “Night Verses”, via Noble Demon. The pre-sale is available at https://music.nobledemon.com/verses

With “Night Verses”, THE MAN-EATING TREE returns with renewed energy and a desire to push the boundaries of their sound. With a lineup featuring former and current members of legendary bands such as Ghost Brigade, Poisonblack, Mors Subita, Entwine, and more, the band is poised to deliver their most powerful and dynamic album yet.

Following the previously-released, first appetizer “Seer”, and second single “To The Sinking”, THE MAN-EATING TREE has shared another glimpse into the soon to be released album. Listen to “Ruins Of Insanity” here:

Vocalist Manne Ikonen (ex-Ghost Brigade) tells us about the song:

“‘Ruins of Insanity’ tells a horrifying story about a couple struggling with a severe addiction and acquisitiveness in a dystopic world of chaos and misery, mind taken over by blinding lunacy so strong that reality and common sense is no longer in hand.“

Founding member Janne Markus adds:

“Melancholy, own, common, hated, ashamed, loved, desired. The disintegration of two people’s world and its reflection in everything around them. Leaving only emptiness. As a song this is the most straight-forward, catchy, melodic, not as heavy as the other songs on the album.“

Tracklist:
01. Nightverses
02. Days Under The Dark
03. Seer
04. These Traces
05. All Our Shadows
