Danish melodic metalcore outfit Ivy Crown releases new single ‘This Delusion’ featuring Helle from IGNEA

Copenhagen-based Ivy Crown released their new single “This Delusion”. A melancholic, heavy and melodic metalcore track that blends Scandinavian darkness with Eastern European strength.

The single features a powerful collaboration with Helle Bohdanova, vocalist of the Ukrainian metal band IGNEA, and marks a new era for Ivy Crown with Maja Shining (Forever Still, Myrkur) joining as the band’s new vocalist.

“This Delusion” was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (known for his work with Volbeat, Amaranthe and Epica) at Hansen Studios. The result is a production that captures both an international sound and the band’s signature Nordic melancholy.

“Helle has been a good friend over the years, so when we had the conversation about features for the album, I immediately knew that she was the right choice. I could already hear her powerful growls when I wrote the vocal parts for This Delusion.

With “This Delusion”, Ivy Crown showcases a darker and more mature side of their sound, yet still defined by their trademarks: massive melodies, brutal breakdowns, and a sound deeply rooted in Nordic melancholy.
