Saille sign to Non Serviam Records for new album ‘Forebode’

Black Metal

Dutch epic black metal band Saille have signed with Non Serviam Records for the release of their sixth full-length album Forebode, their first album in five years, arriving on CD and digital on 13 February 2026.

Formed in 2009 and originally founded in Belgium, Saille are now a fully Netherlands-based line-up, known for epic black metal sharpened with symphonic arrangements and a taste for unusual instrumentation. Across previous records, they have brought in trumpet, theremin, synthesizers, piano and pianola to widen the atmosphere without losing the bite. Across six albums, the band’s writing has stayed concept-driven, leaning into themes of “the fearful, the uncanny and the weird”, while building a strong live reputation on festival stages around Europe.

With Forebode, Saille deliberately steer back towards the atmosphere and visual identity of their earlier era, aiming for the feel of the first three records while using a modern production standard. The album includes four new tracks, a newly re-recorded version of live favourite “Haunter of The Dark 2025”, an extended classical version of “Eater of Worlds” with additional instruments, and three live recordings featuring a violinist, captured at Metal Méan Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting.

The album was mixed by guitarist Reinier Schenk and mastered by Tom Kvålsvoll at Kvalsonic Lab in Norway. The artwork and layout echo the band’s first four albums and were created by Tamara Llenas of Aimed & Framed (Spain), who is also handling all forthcoming videos for this album.

Tracklist:

  1. Deception of Decadence
  2. Echoes of Empathy
  3. Cycle of Cynicism
  4. Reminiscence of Regrets
  5. Haunter of The Dark 2025
  6. Eater of Worlds (Extended Classical Version)
  7. Maere [Live @ Metal Méan Festival]
  8. Tephra [Live @ Metal Méan Festival]
  9. Plaigh Allais [Live @ Graspop Metal Meeting]
