Massive Ego reveal ‘Broken Tomorrow’, their collab with Boy George
Out now via Out Of Line Music: the dark yet eclectic new single “Broken Tomorrow” from UK darkwave legends Massive Ego, featuring none other than Boy George, alongside a brand-new music video. The track serves as a powerful preview of their upcoming full-length “Symphony Of Flies”, due out May 8th, 2026, just in time for the band’s performance at the Out Of Line Weekender Festival in Berlin.
Marking their 30th anniversary, “Symphony Of Flies” is a defiant and emotionally charged statement from a band that has always thrived in the shadows. Across 10 tracks, Massive Ego explores the themes of collapse, recovery, and transformation, delivered with their signature mix of darkwave, glam, EBM, and industrial-pop energy.
At the heart of the new single “Broken Tomorrow” lies a collaboration 30 years in the making. Originally meeting during Boy George’s Jesus Loves You era, Massive Ego frontman Marc Massive and George finally unite vocally on a track that’s already being called “a darkly gothic ballad for our times”
Musically reminiscent of George’s iconic The Crying Game era, the song blends melancholic synths, cinematic guitar lines, and deeply personal lyricism. With George’s unmistakable voice weaving through themes of heartbreak and isolation, the result is a bold, emotional centerpiece for what’s shaping up to be one of 2026’s most anticipated alternative albums.
