Employed To Serve release new single ‘A Moment Gone Too Soon’

Metalcore, Modern Metal

UK metal titans Employed To Serve return with their second new single of 2026. ‘A Moment Gone Too Soon’ is a pummelling experience from the outset, a song of personal introspection, wrapped within a metal anthem set to conquer the huge festival stages that the band will soon be dominating this Summer.

Listen on streaming services HERE.

The band elaborates further on the themes of their latest track:

“A Moment Gone Too Soon touches on something we’re all guilty of, taking what we have for granted and not realising until it’s too late and the sands of time have insidiously slipped through our fingers, until every grain of a reality we once knew exists only in memory. However, this is not a song focused on looking back with rose-tinted glasses, far from it. This is a track that focuses on grabbing the present day with both hands and ringing every bit of happiness and opportunity out of it. At the end of the day, it’s all we truly have” – Employed To Serve

This song follows hot on the heels of the bands ferocious single ‘Dead Reckoning’, which was released in May of this year.

These latest singles come via Jones and Urwin’s own record label Church Road Records, which has been a pillar in the UK metal/alternative scene for almost a decade now. The couple’s love for music runs far deeper than just the confines of Employed To Serve and they’ve managed to cultivate a strong ecosystem of artists housed under the Church Road banner. After many successful release campaigns and many years spent in the business, the time felt right for Employed To Serve to be part of this ever growing roster, giving the band complete control of their creative output.

Employed To Serve also announced that they will be teaming up with the Danish deathcore powerhouse Cabal for a UK/EU co-headline tour this autumn/winter, with support from Cold Culture.
