Avalance share new music video for ‘Rag Masks’
Italian alternative/metal act AVALANCE shared their new music video for “Rag Masks”, directed by Luca Moretti. Produced by Valerio Quirini with Simone Mularoni of Domination Studio on mix and master, the new track is about emotional survival, as explained by the band:
“The song tells the story of wounded people still trying to find their place in the world, even when they feel disconnected, isolated, or broken. The central symbol of the track is these rag-made masks: raw, improvised, imperfect. They do not represent elegance or mystery, but what remains of our identity after pain, fear, and disappointment. They are defenses stitched together from the last fragments we have left in order to face the world. We live in a time where vulnerability is often perceived as weakness, so we learn to hide behind altered versions of ourselves just to survive emotionally. With ‘Rag Masks’ we also wanted to further modernize our sound by introducing immersive atmospheres, sound design, and new electronic elements while still keeping the energy and impact of our metal identity intact. In the near future, we’ll be releasing new music while continuing to further develop our artistic and sonic direction. At the same time, we are also heavily working on the band’s live activity, with new shows being planned and the concrete possibility of expanding our presence across Europe”.
“Rag Masks” is available now in all digital platform in partnership with Superbia Music Group.
