Black metal band Cogadh release first single and music video from upcoming debut album

Black metal band COGADH release the first single and music video ‘Cromwell’s Curse’ from their upcoming debut album ‘KINGMAKER’, out March 6th 2026. 

COGADH is a two-man group that hails from Ontario and Quebec, with Ira handling both guitars and bass while Alex takes on the drums and vocals.  The duo formed the band in 2021 and quickly released their debut EP, ‘Runetongue,’ in 2022. The group has performed live across Ontario and Quebec with the help from guest musicians, with plans to reach new lands in the future. 

Upcoming album KINGMAKER promises to push the band’s established boundaries of traditional but melodic black metal by incorporating a variety of vocal styles and acoustic folk instruments, including the use of Irish whistles, accordion, and atmospheric sound effects recorded in the woods of Quebec.
