Bloodred Hourglass revealed last single before release new album

Finland’s modern death metal outfit Bloodred Hourglass returned last week with their crushing new single “Chasing Shadows,” out now via Out Of Line Music. This marks the final single before the release of their highly anticipated new studio album “We Should Be Buried Like This”, which arrives on October 3, 2025.

After kickstarting the year with their tour alongside The Halo Effect and PAIN, BRHG ready to usher in a new era of their ever-evolving sound. As the band prepares to hit the road for an extensive European and Finnish release tour, “Chasing Shadows” sets the tone for what’s to come.

“Chasing Shadows reaches both far back and boldly forward,” the band explains. “It recalls the aggression of our early days, while embracing a modern, synth-infused edge. Lyrically, it dives into the restlessness of chasing what we know is destructive – addictions, toxic patterns, even people. We know the cost, and still we run.”

Fuelled by relentless riffs, hardcore-flavoured energy, and a synth-driven electronic undercurrent, “Chasing Shadows” is tailor-made for the stage. This October, the band is hitting the road for their European headliner tour with special guest Luna Kills!
