On the last day of Alcatraz 2025, we get 10 more fantastic Belgian bands served up, going from mesmerizing atmosphere makers like Briqueville and Alkerdeel, to absolute mayhem from bands like Bark, Devastatiön, Slaughter Messiah and Cobracide, hardcore legends Congress and Whatever It Takes, rockers Promise Down or goth-tinged heavy metallers Cult of Scarecrow! Something for everyone and again proof how rich the Belgian heavy music scene is…

Day 2 of this year’s TollRock Festival had a great list of artists on the line-up. TollRockerz Band Contest is the yearly opening act of the Saturday procedures. Moonshot, Saint City Orchestra, Kissin’ Dynamite, Donots and Five Finger Skull Crushers were building the electrifying list of acts that appealed to a wide variety of rock, punk, Irish folk and metal fans. In combination with the special atmosphere and location making TollRock a Germany summer festival highlight.

TollRock 2025 Day 1 was not only blessed with wonderful weather but with an impressive line-up on the first day. Starting with Lost Sanity (TollRockerz Band Contest Winner 2024), followed by April Art, Emil Bulls, Fiddlers Green, Skindred and Rock Rising gave an impressive list of artists. The audience was thrilled by the great live performances of all bands on stage. The expectations for day 2 have been raised to an almost unbeatable level.

Rockfest 2025’s final main stage day celebrated attitude and legacy. Demolition 23, The Cult, and Manic Street Preachers shaped Saturday’s atmosphere before the night’s finale.

The line-up of Close Enemies is build by absolute legends and veterans from the rock scene, and together with support from Most Wanted, Faded and Portal 27, they put the ROCK in Detroit Rock City at The Token Lounge last weekend!

London rock duo The Molotovs announced their debut album ‘Wasted On Youth’ to be out early 2026 via Marshall Records and shared with the single ‘Today’s Gonna Be Our Day’ another taste of their fresh Britpop-meets-punk sound!

Rock power trio Danko Jones has officially announced their 12th studio album ‘Leo Rising’ to be out in November this year via their new label Perception!

Danko Jones dropped the party anthem ‘Everyday Is Saturday Night’, the second thunderous offering from their upcoming album, set for release in November via Perception!

The 13th (local) edition of Full Moon gave us 3 Belgian bands: party cover band Crazy Copy Cats, System Of A Down tribute band Toxicity and heavy rock and rollers Promise Down (who you also can catch at Alcatraz festival this summer)!

The Duke of Spook, Wednesday 13 is back with a bang, unleashing his 10th record ‘Mid Death Crisis’ via Napalm Records. Going back to where it all started for him with a more fun, campy, “leave-your-brains-at-the-door” release and a true return to his horror punk roots! We can’t wait to hear his new work live when he’ll take over the stage at Alcatraz in Belgium this summer!
