Darklore reveal new single ‘Servants of Sauron’
Fantasy metal storytellers Darklore have revealed their new single “Servants of Sauron” today, accompanied by an official lyric video. The track is the second release from the band’s upcoming studio album, “The Great Elven War”.

Drawing deeply on the band’s passion for The Lord of the Rings, ‘Servants of Sauron’ is an epic and cinematic journey told from the perspective of the Dark Lord himself. Through commanding narration and soaring metal arrangements, Sauron speaks of his most loyal and feared servants, the Nazgûl, as the hunt for the One Ring of Power begins a new. With imagery steeped in fire, shadow, and conquest, the song captures the dark majesty and relentless force of Middle-earth’s greatest evil.
“The Great Elven War” sees Darklore at their most ambitious, blending fantasy-driven storytelling with powerful metal songwriting to create a vivid and immersive listening experience. ‘Servants of Sauron’ stands as a defining chapter of the album, casting the shadow of Mordor across the band’s expanding sonic world.
Darklore album launch show is on February 28 at Blute’s Bar, where they will perform new songs from The Great Elven War, alongside fan favourites.
