Queen of Spades is back with a brand new track, “Stagnant,” a raw song that dives deep into the suffocating grasp of depression. After releasing ‘IMPACT’ about battling mental issues, this song is written about one of them: depression. This “disease” impacts a lot of people and also Queen of Spades personally.

The song describes the way you feel when you are depressed: the battle between light and dark, it feels like the depression is trying to seduce you into the dark and that it feels better to go there. We know it’s hard to stay strong when everything around you is pulling you under.

Stagnant means not growing or developing. When you feel depressed you can’t grow or develop yourself. When you step out of the dark you can!
