Finnish rockers Shiraz Lane launched their own beer ‘Stone Cold Lager’

Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Sleaze Rock

Shiraz Lane will release her new album In Vertigo on October 24 and head to gigs in Finland the next day, starting at Tiivistämö in Helsinki on the 25th of this month. The band, who recently released their Live A Little More video , will launch their own lager beer this week as a piece of new music, the name of which is a funny twist on the opening song of the upcoming album.

The crispy lager is made at the CoolHead Brew brewery, the same place where Shiraz Lane also performed this summer.

“In the summer, we put our heads together with the messiah of Finnish rock when we started planning a joint beer to hydrate both thirsty rock roosters and their fans at the backstage of CoolHead LIVE. The band’s wish was clear; something fresh and easy to pull. Accompanied by these steps, it was easy to start designing an American-style lager that emphasizes the crunchy freshness typical of the style, with a clinically clean bite – on stage, in the audience, everywhere,” says CoolHead Brew’s Miro Javanainen.

The first taste of the lager was taken last week Thursday, when Shiraz Lane organized a preview of the album at The Riff bar in Helsinki.

In Vertigo‘s already released songs and the entire album itself open up a new ambitious chapter in Shiraz Lane‘s career, where soulful rock meets modern production. The upcoming album is backed by producer Per Aldeheim (Def Leppard, H.E.A.T, Pain), who previously made a successful impression with the band on the Vibration I EP and Carnival Days, and the album was completed by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound Studios.

This year marked the tenth anniversary of the band’s first EP, Be The Slave Or Be The Change , and during those years, the band has already travelled around the world, from Japan to the Caribbean and South America. The band has also been seen in several television shows in Finland and, for example, as a warm-up act for the farewell gig of the band KISS.

The album In Vertigo, which will be released internationally through the Frontiers Music Srl label, will also see the release of the band’s first vinyl album. In addition to the vinyl on the In Vertigo cover, a limited edition of 99 gold vinyls is available.

The In Vertigo album includes the following songs:
Stone Cold Lover
Dangerous
The Ray Of Light
Live A Little More
Babylon
Plastic Heart
Sayonara Love
Bullshit
Come Alive
Brand New Day
