Gothminister announces new album ‘We Are All Demons’

With over 26 years, 8 full-length albums and performances in 40+ countries, GOTHMINISTER is regarded as “one of the most iconic gothic/industrial acts” (Terra Relicta).

“The Dark” is Gothminister’s fifth single from the upcoming album We Are All Demons, which has just recently been announced and is set for release on October 16th.

A dark and atmospheric track, “The Dark” tells the story of a couple: she leads him into the forest to reveal that she must leave him—and this life—behind. Left alone, he discovers a grave and uncovers a demon child within.

The song captures this haunting narrative through a powerful fusion of guitars, drums, EDM and dubstep elements, combined with Gothminister’s signature hypnotic and cinematic sound. The result is a beautiful, intense, and deeply dark composition.

The digital release of The Dark foreshadows what’s to come on the album, serving as a tasty morsel for fans, featuring singles “The Spell”, “Welcome to Hell”, “Darkest side of earth” and “Darkness is my Throne”.

For the first time, the entire album is fully recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Bjørn Alexander Brem himself – delivering the raw and uncompromising sound he always envisioned.

This 11-track album plunges into the depths of our inner darkness, revealing that we all carry demons beneath the surface. Through its bold thematic arc, the album urges listeners to confront their darkness, embrace strength within it, and emerge fearless.
