Lord Belial unveil their darkest anthem yet from new album

From the depths of the unhallowed night emerges ‘The Whore’, the latest ceremonial offering from Swedish black metal stalwarts Lord Belial‘s forthcoming album Unholy Trinity. The new album will be released on 27th June via Hammerheart Records.

The track stands as a testament to Lord Belial‘s unwavering commitment to the ancient black metal arts, forged in the fires of Nordic tradition yet bearing the mark of their distinctive sonic sorcery.  ‘The Whore’ serves as both warning and invitation, a declaration that Lord Belial continues to reign supreme in the blackened pantheon of extreme metal.

It stands as a dark pillar of Unholy Trinity, merging biblical imagery with Lord Belial’s signature blackened ferocity.“

Swedish black metal legends Lord Belial return in 2025 with their tenth studio album, Unholy Trinity, a fierce continuation of their legacy, set to push the boundaries of extreme music even further. Formed in 1992, Lord Belial has been a cornerstone of the Scandinavian black metal scene for over three decades, known for blending raw aggression with haunting melody and atmosphere.

Following their triumphant 2022 comeback with Rapture, hailed as one of their strongest works to date, Unholy Trinity sees the band sharpen their sound to deadly precision.
