Massive Wagons share new single ‘Story Of My Demise’

Following the outstanding success of “Everywhere We Go,” MASSIVE WAGONS return with their brand-new single “Story Of My Demise,” available now on all digital platforms. Accompanied by a brand-new official music video, the release marks the next chapter for one of the UK’s most electrifying modern rock bands.

Packed with soaring hooks, driving riffs and the band’s unmistakable high-energy sound, “Story Of My Demise” delivers another powerful statement from MASSIVE WAGONS. “We were blown away by the success of ‘Everywhere We Go’ in Europe especially to be honest, the radio support was outstanding! We wanted to follow it up with another huge catchy song and we’d had this demo in our back pocket right from the early days of songs for the next album. Ive always liked it if i can polarise the lyrics and the song itself, a happy tune with gritty, grim lyrics. The songs gonna be bangin live, i can just tell, and to lower the mood, the lyrics are are about feeling completely useless while the world around you is slowly dismantled by a consortium of rich psychopaths. Hey ho.”

Guitar player Adam adds: 

“I’ve been told by several sources of high repute that The Story Of My Demise is ‘classic MW’ – I’m not sure what that means but I’ll assume it’s a positive.  We just took a tune we wrote and turned all knobs up to 10.  Knobs metaphorical and otherwise…”

The release follows an incredible run for “Everywhere We Go,” which became the band’s most successful radio single to date. The song spent weeks at No. 1 on the German Rock Radio Charts, while its official music video quickly became one of the band’s biggest online successes, surpassing 500,000 views and overtaking many of their previous releases in record time.

Just like its predecessor, “Story Of My Demise” will also be available as a limited 7-inch vinyl single, giving collectors another special release to add to their shelves.

Beyond the music, the new single also marks the beginning of a new era for MASSIVE WAGONS. Alongside the release, the band launches its first official webshop outside the UK, making merchandise, vinyl and exclusive items far more accessible for fans across mainland Europe with faster shipping, local distribution and significantly lower shipping costs.

After conquering the UK charts and continuing to build a loyal audience across Europe, MASSIVE WAGONS are ready to bring their explosive live show back to Germany this autumn.
