“The Choral Tomb” is a bombardment of oceanic maelstrom the music is vastly spacious and filled with emotion-packed clean vocals, therefore, allowing much diversity by applying elements from sludge doom, droning atmosphere, and arpeggio guitars. Ahab conveys its own trademarks which they proclaim as a Nautical funeral doom institution. Out today via Napalm Records!

With members from the ocean faring mastodons of in Mourning and Ahab, Svärd has set a psychedelic sail on the sludgy seas of heavy metal with their first EP ‘The Rift’.

Fans of Ahab can get their dose of nautical funeral doom at its best from with ‘Live Prey’, a recording of their performance on Germany’s Death Row Fest from 2017.
