Album Reviews

Occulsed debut album ‘Crepitation of Phlegethon’ is steeped in cavernous old school death metal putridity.

Those who recall the old classic style of death/grind metal of the early nineties era. The sophomore release “Prying Sight of Imperception” recaptures the classic gore/grind and death metal sound.

Sanguisugabogg managed to deliver a consistent album. This is a valid example of a modern breed of brutal death.

Disembowel’s Echoes of Terror is soaked with the retro fashioned riffs and has a very refreshing vibe of guttural death metal.

Necrophagia may have been put to rest after the untimely death of its main driving force Killjoy, but the undead rear their putrid head once more time with these selected cuts from their studio albums: ‘Here Lies Necrophagia: 35 Years of Death Metal’.

Is it just a coincidence this record gets released on Friday the 13th? I don’t think so. This album is pure evil.

Mixing beauty with jagged harshness… I present you Gore!
