Album Reviews

This latest vigor from Drawn and Quartered proves that they are one of the consistent death metal acts that can evolve by time without neglecting the true sound of old school death metal!!

In need of some technically typically djent. These French dudes from Kadinja are bringing us some technically djent that can compete with their bigger brothers in the genre.

It is affirmative to say that The Quebec lads of Outre Tombe are capable to match the sound of the classic sound of 90’s era, “Necrovortex” is a rudiment record and has this brutish flavor.

With a moniker like The Sabbathian you’d almost be disappointed if the band didn’t display some serious hero worship at the altar of Iommi, yet it’s not quite so retro as you might think. This dynamic duo mixes in a lot of unexpected twists and turns, from Burzumesque guitar hissing to a duet with Liv Kristine.

Soen takes us on a progressive ride with music that has their signature sound all over!

Ossuarium’s “Living Tomb” is an album that lives up to the hype. And can surely withstand the erosion of time and space, I would proudly place this album right beside Disma’s debut album “Towards the Megalith”.

Are you ready to enter the kingdom of Thorium to honour their king and their God?

Whereas the previous two records had a dynamic interplay between up tempo rockers and slow burners, When The World Becomes undone’ mostly focuses on slow tracks , not unlike the similarly monikered World Coming Down did, after the easier on the ear tunes of October Rust.

Altarage doesn’t intend to create any beauty when it comes to music instead they approach metal with extreme methods of deformity.

A great comeback from Carnal Forge. Hopefully the first of many new albums.
