The Missing Peace releases new single ‘Firework’

Alternative Rock, Post-metal, Rock

Post-modern rock group The Missing Peace has released their new single “FIREWORK”. Combining ethereal melodies and brutal breakdowns, “FIREWORK” was produced by Cameron Mizell (Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire, Avril Lavigne, Machine Gun Kelly). Fans can listen to the new song now, here: https://lnk.to/tmpfirework.

“’FIREWORK’ is a total evolution of our sound and could definitely challenge the status quo of rock music,” the band shares.“The song has everything from intense breakdowns & gritty vocals to melodic, pop-influenced hooks. Mizell x TMP is bringing the energy that can shake up the mainstream rock scene and we can’t wait for you to hear it”

The Missing Peace is a young, explosive rock band from Washington, DC. Fronted by freakish performers Luciano and Lazarus, The Missing Peace have a fresh, experimental sound that blends hardcore, alternative, and pop elements to produce a style of modern rock that not only threatens the status quo, but we’ve heard it’s also the reason that Doja Cat now says she wants to make “pure, unfiltered punk”.

Childhood friends Lazarus and NÎCO met Luciano as teenagers and became close friends. The trio were all involved in music from a young age & would frequently busk together in downtown DC. In 2020, the group found itself living together in a dilapidated house in College Park, MD, where they started writing songs together and began throwing house parties where they would play their music. By 2021, the house parties became too large to control, with artists coming from all around the DMV to perform.

That same year, the group saw the band release their first music as The Missing Peace. A month later, NÎCO and Luciano made a crazy decision to pool a large chunk of their money to buy a 1989 Dodge conversion van, which they surprised Lazarus with at their house. Having picked up fresh new band members Max Minichiello (drums) and Andrew Nixon (bass), the new crew hit the road and began playing shows around the east coast and growing their influence.

After opening for KennyHoopla on his last tour and garnering over 120k streams on “tîger face”, The Missing Peace caught the attention of rock producer Cameron Mizell. The band met Cam in Nashville and crafted a batch of new songs, with “FIREWORK” the first to be released.

The Missing Peace is rising quickly and a must-listen for anyone who wants to say “I found them first”. Stay tuned for more coming soon at https://lnkfi.re/tmp.

The Missing Peace is:
Lazarus – guitar, vocals
Luciano – vocals
NÎCO – guitar
