UK deathcore upstarts Dead Flesh unleash venomous single ‘Vile Resurrection’
London-based deathcore rising stars DEAD FLESH have shared their crushing new single, “Vile Resurrection”, today (24th June) via self-release. The single comes alongside a chaotic and kinetic music video, directed by Shark Sauce Films, which you can view exclusively on YouTube via Slam Worldwide.
“Vile Resurrection”, which was produced, mixed and mastered by Justin Hill (SikTh), is a breakneck, urgent slice of modern deathcore, anchored down by the angular riff work of guitarists Chris Everett and Troy Wicks, as well as the crushing vocal performance of newcomer Kieran Storrie.
Thematically inspired primarily by occult horror films ‘Bring Her Back’ and ‘A Dark Song’, “Vile Resurrection” is a song defined by suffering and loss. The band states:
“The track explores the extreme and dangerous lengths someone would go to bring back those they love, while they are completely consumed by grief and desperation.” They continue:“This song represents a fresh start for the band, a rebirth with a new vocalist and a gnarlier sound, a “Vile Resurrection“”
Taking equal inspiration from the classics and the modern greats of the genre, “Vile Resurrection” is a potent and brutal slab of deathcore that yearns to be heard by any budding fan of the genre in its many forms, crafted by one of the UK’s most crushing underground uprisers.

Line-up:
Kieran Storrie: vocals
Chris Everett: guitar
Troy Wicks: guitars
Adam ‘AJ’ Guinness: bass
Michael ‘Nelly’ O’Neill: drums
