Vermilia premiered new single and music video 'Tuonen Joki' • GRIMM Gent

Finnish pagan metal artist Vermilia premiered a new video for the track called “Tuonen Joki” which is the second single from her forthcoming full-length album “Ruska”, coming on 09.09.2022 as CD/Digital.

The image for the video was made by Finnish illustrator Antti Koski and the video cut, edit & animation were made by Vermilia together with the producer Somnia.

“Tuonen Joki is a poetic journey where the dead have to cross the river to get to Tuonela, the land of the dead. In Finnish mythology, the river of Tuoni separates Tuonela from the world of the living. This time I wanted to try something new and I ended up making an animated video for the song”
