Withered Land unleashes new single and video ‘Imia Na Kamieni’

The second single and official music video for “Imia Na Kamieni” by the Belarusian Atmospheric Black Metal band Withered Land was released last week. Taken from their upcoming 3^rd full length album “Piesni Vietru”, which will be released on 27th of November 2026 on CD, Vinyl & Digital format via Immortal Frost Productions.

Withered land is an Atmospheric Black Metal band with epic sounds and fantasy themes from Belarus who present their 3rd full length album “Piesni Vietru”.

Piesni Vietru is not just another album but rather an epic journey that takes you from classic black metal riffing to atmospheric passages to even folkish and ambient pieces through the record. A true masterpiece of combining different metal genre’s with folk instruments effortlessly.

The album opens with a beautiful acoustic guitar melody followed by a distortion guitar and choirs before the metal riffing burst open in combination with majestic clean vocals that lead you into the first break only to be overpowered by atmospheric black metal aggression. The music throughout the album is super divers as explained above and this gives the listener enough variation to enjoy. The guitars are harsh but super well balanced with the pounding drums who are accompanied by the low bass guitar. The folkish / acoustic instruments come and go where needed as do the vocals who switch easily and often between clean and screaming vocal lines.

The whole production of the album is simply wonderful and each instruments get enough time to shine without overtaking the rest of the instrumental part. There are even several moments for some nice solo guitars who add just that little extra that you didn’t expect but gladly absorb while listening.

Withered Land has written, recorded and delivered an album that is more than just another metal record, it’s a journey, a musical escapade that every metal fan can enjoy to the fullest. Atmospheric Black Metal of the highest standard with enough epic sound and beautiful storytelling is what Piesni Vietru represents.
