April Art share new single and video ‘Karma Is A Beach’

Alternative Metal, Alternative Rock, Modern Metal

April Art are unstoppable.

With their third studio album Rodeo, the band has officially joined the top tier of German rock – reaching #26 on the official German album charts, selling out shows, and tearing up stages all summer long. But April Art have no intention of slowing down.

Last Friday marks the release of their brand-new single “Karma Is A Beach”, and once again, the band proves why they’re currently one of the most exciting metal acts in Germany. Produced by drummer Ben Juelg in the band’s own studio, the track comes with an official music video shot in February 2025, directed by Mirko Witzki (Witzki Visions) at blue:beach in Witten.

The band comments:

“Karma is a Beach is the perfect summer festival track. The song is a humorous reminder that everything you do eventually comes back to you. The track is 100% April Art, snotty and loud. We had a great time shooting the music video and hope that the song helps you to take life a little less seriously.”

With a powerful mix of crushing riffs, driving grooves, and electrifying melodies, Karma Is A Beach delivers the perfect soundtrack for anyone who believes in the inevitable force of karma – or doesn’t. Instead of moral preaching, the track offers a cheeky grin, a solid dose of irony, and the realization: “What goes around, comes around.” Karma is watching, waiting – and strikes when you least expect it.

Musically, April Art stay true to their roots while taking things even further: more direct, more energetic, and packed with live intensity. In its most organic moments, the song deliberately avoids digital trickery – everything is performed with real instruments and raw, unfiltered energy.

But Karma Is A Beach is just the beginning of another year full of highlights: After supporting Deine Cousine on tour and a wild 2025 festival season, the band will head out on their biggest headline tour yet – the “Burn The Whole Tour 2025” this fall. April Art are here to stay – and they’re taking no prisoners. Buckle up or get out of the way.
