Swedish melodic death metal band Abandon Agony have recently announced their debut full-length album Endbringer, due out May 22, 2026, alongside the first single and video, “Writing on the Wall”. “Polar Shift is one of the darker tracks on the album, built around contrast between melody and tension. It carries a heavier atmosphere and a sense of unease that runs throughout the song, both musically and lyrically. The idea behind the track touches on a world that’s shifting beyond control, whether that’s something external like society or something more internal. It reflects that feeling of instability, where everything familiar slowly starts to fall apart.”
