Belgian metalcore band Beyond Our Sight shares brutal new single 'Ouroboros' • GRIMM Gent

The six-piece Belgian metal band Beyond Our Sight breaks its silence with the release of its brand-new single, “Ouroboros”. The track marks an evolution in the band’s sound. “Ouroboros” combines the golden formula of melodic metalcore with a modern sonic edge.

With “Ouroboros” (named after the ancient symbol of the serpent devouring its own tail), the band dives into the destructive, endless cycles in which both humanity and individuals can become trapped. Musically, this concept manifests itself as a sonic storm: razor-sharp guitar riffs, an absolute crushing rhythm section, and a relentless vocal assault, all of which make Beyond Our Sight stand out.

“We wanted to capture the nostalgic energy of early 2000s metalcore while injecting it with the heaviness and production standards of today. The contrast between the melodies and the crushing riffs in ‘Ouroboros’ reflects the constant cycle of creation and destruction.“

The single will be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, from today onward. The release is accompanied by an intense music video that visually amplifies the atmosphere and power of the track.

“Some chains never break, they close”

Old school metalcore with a modern twist. Beyond Our Sight is what happens when six friends combine forces. Each with their own influences and stories to tell, resulting in a crushing force of heavy riffs balanced out with melodic hooks, intense vocals, coming at you with full force.

Hailing from and around Ghent, they have established a reputation for themselves as a relentless live act, playing numerous shows around the country, recording an EP, and releasing 2 music videos before Covid hit. Post covid, priorities had shifted, and they played one last show as closure in 2020.

Six years later, the threads of friendship and passion for music pulled them back together, creating something new out of the ashes of what used to be. More ready than ever to storm the stages once more!
