The music industry is at it again at full force after the festival season with a massive amount of really cool releases coming out, just look at the number of our most anticipated releases for September have grown into and then we probably could have included more still. With new albums from Blind Guardian, Yungblud, Wolfheart, Slipknot, Starcrawler, Lost Society, The Hu, Vermin Womb, Vermilia, Bloodbath, Slugcrust, Electric Callboy, Innumerable Forms, Tribal Gaze, Gaerea and Graceless, it’ll be quite the month again!
Things are getting ramped up now that the summer period is at its end! Great releases are coming out soon and it showed in the past week with new singles from Slipknot, Gaerea, Alien Weaponry, Brymir, Orbit Culture, Suasion ft. Steffi Pacson and The Callous Daoboys that amazed us!
Gojira took over Europe on their massive ‘Fortitude’ tour with support from up-and-comers Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve and we caught them at their show at a sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki, Finland in front of a crowd that was absolutely hungry for some good live show!
Metal mastodons Gojira came, saw and conquered a sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki, Finland with their amazing music and killer visuals back in July, with support from Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve!
One of our writers about discovering Inmate: “While being at Metaldays in Slovenia, I got to know Slovenian metalcore band Inmate. After an energetic performance where lead singer Marko Duplišak jumped from the stage, over the steel fences and into the crowd, Then ran one lap in the circle pit, jumped back over the fence and jumped on stage and still had enough breath to sing, I was curious to find out more about this band. Drummer Jure Grudnik gave me their CD.”
Their 2021 album ‘The Salt’ is an album with a lot of feelings. There’s positivity, there’s negativity, there’s love. It makes you think, wondering if you are doing the right thing. This album could mean a 1000 things to a 1000 different people, but that’s what’s music is all about. All of this is poured into a Trivium-like melodic metalcore style.
