CORVUS CORAX launch music video & single for “Sverker”

Great events cast their shadows ahead! CORVUS CORAX are back with another single of their metal offshoot ERA METALLUM and herald the countdown to the upcoming album of the same name in June 2022:

“SVERKER“, already as the title track of the eponymous 2011 success album with over 8 million plays on Spotify THE long-running hit of the medieval pioneers from Berlin, now appears in the “Era Metallum“-typical garb.

Mighty male choirs and powerful walls of guitars by SAMI YLI-SIRNIÖ, a full-time member of KREATOR and WALTARI, give the metallic version of the song the decisive shove of pressure and playing technique that make ERA METALLUM a unique and incomparable symbiosis of the Corvus Corax-typical Nordic epics and metal.

The video clip for “CORVUS CORAX ERA METALLUM – Sverker” was directed by ANDREAS MARSCHALL – known for horror movies like “Tears of Kali” and “German Angst” as well as music video director for well-known genre representatives like KREATOR, SODOM or MOONSPELL – as a nightmarish vision of an impending war of the Swedish king Sverker.
