CORVUS CORAX release new video “Ragnarök” feat. Sami Yli-Sirniö (Kreator)

Folk, Folk Metal, Heavy Metal, News

If the Vikings had had electric guitars, this form of metal would have probably evolved much earlier: With passionate metal guitars and skillful, progressive drums, the quick-change artists from CORVUS CORAX shape their well-known playing styles into a successful symbiosis of traditional instruments and heavy metal. A unique connection between the traditional and the dazzlingly modern was created.

With their new project “ERA METALLUM” they bring the epic of Corvus Corax together with the force of metal and thus create a new, unique music experience.

We can get a first glimpse of it with the release of “Ragnarök” in a on February 07, 2020. Watch the video here:

Already on the cover we are greeted by Jörmungandr, the global snake, in a modern, powerful and harsh-looking sight, who promises epic and unprecedented things.

With the distinctive guitars by Sami Yli-Sirniö (Kreator) and the progressive metal drums recorded by Norbert Norri Drescher (Corvus Corax, former drummer with the Prog-Trash metal band Depressive Age) get the imposing bagpipes and the martial chants of Castus Karsten Liehm an uncompromising space for development. Mysticism, power and myths in a symphonic and rock hard harmony. The end of the world has never been more impressive than in the era of metal of Corvus Corax. Convince yourself!

The single Ragnarök is the powerful harbinger of the album ERA METALLUM, which will be released on September 04, 2020.
