Graspop Announces First Names for 2019
Graspop started out with announcing the first 2 headliners. Within Temptation will be closing the festival on Friday June 21 and Slipknot will be doing so on June 22. This year the festival will last for 3 days, unlike last year when the XL edition lasted 4 days. We’re still keeping our fingers crossed for the headliner of Sunday June 23.
Through a bug on the website, a couple of names already leaked before the announcement. Normally on the Graspop website, you can search for bands that played the festival before. The bands that wouldn’t show up in the festivals history were going to play the festival in 2019. The leaked names were KISS, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Children of Bodom, Agnostic Front, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Disturbed, Eluveitie, Godsmack, Equilibrium, Gloryhammer, Halestorm, Trivium, Sabton, Hammerfall, King Diamond, Testament, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Candlemass. All of these have been confirmed by Graspop now.
Other bands that have been announced are Lynyrd Skynyrd, In Flames, Hawkwind, Demons & Wizards, Krokus, Hatebreed, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Delain, Sonata Arctica, No Fun at All, Legion of the Damned, Deathstars, Sick of it All, Combichrist, Cult of Luna, Borknagar, Orange Goblin, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, FM, Immolation, Crowbar, Municipal Waste, Grand Magus, Whitechapel, Bleed From Within, State Champs, Power Trip, To the Rats and Wolves and Crisix.
Combi tickets and VIP tickets are on sale right now through this link. A combi ticket will cost you 210 euros, a VIP combi costs 335 euros. The day tickets are not for sale yet. Graspop will announce when they are available. The ticket price for one day will be 99 euros, and VIP will be 175 euros.
