Album Reviews

On ‘Torn Arteries’ Carcass takes us on a tour de force cycle of their musical evolution from old school death metal grindcore to technical melodeath.

“Despicable” is overtly melodic, well-executed, and ridiculously enjoyable this is certainly a solid release by Carcass.

On ‘Scriptures’ you should expect nothing but a groundbreaking performance and for this reason, Benediction’s latest record is inflated with that nostalgic old spirit.

Grimy and murky is what Cerebral Rot brings into the world of death metal…

“Cease to Exist” is Noisem’s best effort to date and it has all the grinding elements of old school metal, this is more of a mixed up styles which have been compacted into one massive package.

Pounder’s debut full-length album is quite refreshing and the band has managed to bring some energizing tunes without emulating other bands.

Festerday isn’t a Carcass clone, this band has been around for over almost three decades now and they are firmly rooted into the death metal style.

Bloodbath still sounds filthy, morbid and brutal with technical qualities, this is a perfect record for fans of rotten old school death metal!!!

Is it just a coincidence this record gets released on Friday the 13th? I don’t think so. This album is pure evil.
