Insolitus shares new single ‘The Dying Light of Day’

Belgian melodic metal ensemble Insolitus proudly announces the release of the fourth and final single “The Dying Light Of Day”…

Expertly written and ferociously performed, this majestic homage to hope and inner strength deals with the truest of victories. When faced with overwhelming odds, what choice will you make? Let the shadow swallow your last ray of light or gather what’s left of you and rise?

Accompanied with yet another intriguing and mesmerising  self produced video clip, Insolitus paves the way for the release of their debut album ‘The Monumental Fall’, set for release on October 30^th of 2026.

The first singles have already put Insolitus firmly on the radar of the Belgian metal press. Luminous Dash praised the title track for its powerful production, rich melodies and commanding vocals, before hailing “Whisperbox” as another standout release. With “The Dying Light Of Day”, the band now brings its four-single journey to a close, leaving the final word to a song that embraces both the darkness and the determination at the heart of its sound.

Since unveiling their debut single, Insolitus have been attracting attention for their melodic approach to heavy music, earning a “Tip van de Week” feature from Rock Tribune and enthusiastic coverage from Luminous Dash. With haunting melodies and riffs, tormented screams and roaring orchestration, Insolitus vividly demonstrates their darkest side to fans of SepticFlesh, Dimmu Borgir & Rotting Christ. And remember: No night has ever killed the sun!

For the recording and mixing of their debut album ‘The Monumental Fall’, Insolitus teamed up with Szymon Wojciech of Regent Audio (Anciients, Zwartalder, Silence of the Nemeta) at Dunk! Studios.

The album was mastered by Yarne Heylen of Project Zero Studios (Carnation, Epica, Warbringer).
